General Terms and Conditions 

Article 1: Definitions  

In these general terms and conditions the following definitions apply: 

Webshop: The online store offering coffee beans, ground coffee and merchandise via Coffee Brothers B.V. (www.coffee-brothers.nl). 

Customer: Any natural or legal person who enters into an agreement with the webshop. 

Products: All goods offered through the webshop, including coffee beans, ground coffee and merchandise. 

Agreement: The purchase agreement between the customer and the webshop. 

Article 2: Applicability 

These general terms and conditions apply to all offers, orders and agreements concluded via the webshop. 

By placing an order, the customer accepts these general terms and conditions. 

Article 3: Offer and prices 

All products and prices listed on the website are non-binding and subject to errors and changes. 

Prices include VAT, but exclude any shipping costs. Free shipping is offered for orders over €50,-. 

The offer may also include products sold in advance (pre-sale). This means that the products may have a longer delivery time than usual, for example because there is insufficient stock at that moment or new stock is on the way. When purchasing a pre-sale product, the customer agrees to the associated longer delivery time. 

The webshop reserves the right to change prices and product offerings at any time. 

Article 4: Ordering and payment 

Orders can only be placed via the webshop. 
Payment must be made in full before the order is shipped. 

The webshop offers the following payment methods: 

- iDEAL 

- American Express 

- Maestro 

- Apple Pay 

- Google Pay 

- Visa 

- Mastercard 

- PayPal 

Article 5: Delivery 

The webshop strives to deliver orders within the usual delivery time, unless otherwise agreed, such as with pre-sale products. 

Delivery takes place at the address provided by the customer. 

The webshop is not liable for delays caused by external parties, such as delivery services.

Delivery occurs within 1 to 5 working days, estimated delivery time is an indication and should not be considered binding.  

 
Article 6: Right of withdrawal 

The customer has the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days after receipt of the products without giving any reason. 

The right of withdrawal does not apply to: 

- Products that spoil quickly, such as opened packages of coffee beans or ground coffee. 

- Personalized or custom-made merchandise. 

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must contact support@coffee-brothers.nl. 

Article 7: Returns 

If the customer exercises the right of withdrawal, the products must be returned unopened in their original condition and packaging. 

The costs of return shipping are borne by the customer, unless the return is due to an error by the webshop. 

Article 8: Warranty and complaints 

The webshop guarantees that the products comply with the agreement and the reasonable expectations of the customer. 

Any complaints can be reported via support@coffee-brothers.nl. The webshop will respond within 14 days after receipt of the complaint. 

 

Article 9: Liability 

The webshop is not liable for damage resulting from the use of the delivered products, unless there is intent or gross negligence. 

The total liability of the webshop is limited to the amount the customer has paid for the relevant order. 

 

Article 10: Force majeure

The webshop is not obliged to fulfill any obligation if this is prevented by force majeure, such as disruptions in supply, transport problems, or other circumstances beyond the webshop's control. 

Article 11: Intellectual property rights 

All intellectual property rights related to the products and the webshop rest with the webshop or its suppliers. 

It is not permitted to copy texts, images or other content from the webshop without written permission. 

All intellectual property rights are registered with the BIOP under number 1517484 in the Benelux.  

Article 12: Applicable law 

Dutch law applies to all agreements and these general terms and conditions. 

Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
